Come see the young pet owners show and talk about their best animal friends.

Clover Buddies

Rabbit, Bucket Calf, Bottle Lamb, & Bottle Goat

It may not be lions and tigers, but OH MY! What fun to see the youngest of the fair competitors proudly share their animals before bleachers packed with their family and friends.

Not only are these lighthearted competitions very rewarding for the kids, they are often the start of long 4-H and FFA careers at the Plymouth County Fair.

Livestock Judging Contest

The Livestock Judging Contest, hosted by the Le Mars FFA Chapter, is a long-standing tradition at the Plymouth County Fair.

The chapter -- consisting of students from Le Mars Community and Gehlen Catholic -- puts together cattle, beef, sheep and goat classes for participants to place. Official results are given and honors go to both youth and adult participants.
