Wednesday night is an exciting time, as the current royalty hand the reigns over to the next generation of queens, kings, princes and princesses.

The crowd of onlookers pay close attention to the stage filled of wildly talented and impressive young 4-H and FFA kids. With so many deserving kids, who will wear the next crown?

It's an official kickoff to the festivities in the Pioneer Village, starting with a flag raising ceremony at 6:40 pm, Wednesday, July 26.

Recognition of 4-H Foundation will take place at 6:45 pm.

It is simple. The Plymouth County Fair couldn't happen without the dedication of many!

Each year the Plymouth County Fair Board -- infant of a packed Pioneer Village -- recognizes someone who has gone above and beyond to make the fair a better place.

Join in the celebration announcing and congratulating the newest inductee.

"Not many groups can say that they have a music history that spans over 50 years, but here we are,” says Highway 96 group members. Highway 96 is on the scene and ready to take you on a musical road trip! Some of the group’s favorite memories go hand in hand with summer road trips and weekends cruising Main Street. “Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, and right smack dab on Route 66 in Oklahoma, we bring a unique blend of artsy, eclectic, and just plain good old-fashioned harmony singing to the table.

Just like a homecooked meal, we can make the cares and worries from the day melt away, and you will leave refreshed and renewed in your love of music and having fun,” says the group.

Quilts and Recognition for Plymouth County Veterans

A Quilt of Valor® is a program that provides a quality, handmade quilt to service members or veterans who have been touched by war.

Locally the program exists thanks to the generosity of Ginny Freyermuth and her granddaughters, as well as Phyllis Woll and Geri Dreckman.

Each quilt says: “Thank you for your service and sacrifice in serving our nation.”

Plymouth County is thankful for these kind ladies and the veterans they honor. Thank you!

It’s truly a family affair when The Browns hit the stage with their music. The musical stylings of Adam, Michaela, and Andrew exude excitement on the stage and offer an experience to all who hear them. The Browns deliver the powerful message of the gospel through word and song that engage audiences of all ages.

The Browns have been touring across the United States since the group began 20-some years ago. The heralded group began on the local and state level and has expanded and grown into a national and international touring group.

Lizzy was born in Minneapolis, Minn., and grew up in a family of entertainers.

As a child, she spent much of her summer learning about and watching stage hypnosis shows across the country. She was always intrigued by the power and hilarity of hypnosis. Lizzy chose to continue the family tradition in entertainment and pursue a career as a stage hypnotist.

She has used her knowledge and expertise to create a hypnosis show that is unique, funky and fresh. She believes that the more we can smile and laugh together, the better our lives will be, because laughter is one of the best kinds of therapy. There is sure to be lots of laughter during her show!

Rockland Road is six musicians who share the last name: Martin. They are vocalists, who among them play 23 different instruments. It is a powerhouse group featuring soulful vocals.


Paul and Jamie Martin began singing together in 2010 with their four children: March, Kell, Texas and Tallant. Quickly realizing the kids all showed an uncanny knack for hearing harmonies, as well as for playing instruments, they began performing shows together.


Grammy-winning artist Paul Martin, lead singer/guitarist of country-pop supergroup Exile, met and married Jamie Allen, daughter of Duane Allen, a member of Country Music Hall of Fame gospel group The Oak Ridge Boys, and Grand Ole Opry background singer Norah Lee Allen. Individually and collectively, Paul and Jamie’s four children were exposed early to a rich musical
heritage which they cultivated into a unique musical experience.
